Pasty, a pale ghost story

Pasty is a bizarre and spooky tale about recurring spectres of oppression in the everyday. Collective memory exercises, masks, homemade instruments, and shameless appropriation all apparate in an effort to inflate such an extreme caricature of the cis white male that he bursts apart like a sickly marshmallow peep performing its final death spin in the great American microwave. Does telling the tale set us free or keep the ghost alive?
